Robertson pushed Casemiro, causing the two to square up to each other before being separated by a combination of Jurgen Klopp and the match officials.

It seems Klopp’s opposite number, Zinedine Zidane, was enjoying the show, however.

The Real Madrid boss appeared to be smiling as the two players sized each other up, rather than try to separate them.

Was Zidane enjoying the fight? Look at the picture below and judge for yourself.

The second leg was a tense affair but ended goalless as Liverpool failed to chase Real Madrid‘s 3-1 lead and went crashing out of the Champions League.

Los Blancos goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois was forced into making some early saves to deny Mohamed Salah and James Milner, while Real nearly took the lead when they hit the post as Ozan Kabak dispossessed Karim Benzema.

Salah had another chance but couldn’t quite dig the ball out effectively, while Georginio Wijnaldum fluffed his lines as he had a clear shot at goal.
