Zeller announces appointment of Jeremy Oremland as principal, multifamily development

Zeller is pleased to announce veteran real estate development executive, Jeremy Oremland has joined Zeller in the newly created position of principal, multifamily development. With over 18 years of experience, Jeremy will lead Zeller’s multifamily development in coordination with the acquisitions, capital markets, and construction and development teams. Partnering with Zeller’s national market leaders, Jeremy will identify and cultivate multifamily, mixed-use and adaptive reuse deals, as well as coordinate with co-GP partners on current and future developments.

Over the past two years, Zeller has co-developed Evo Union Park, a 242-unit, 11-story multifamily development in Chicago’s Fulton Market neighborhood, and is currently co-developing 1405 Spring Road, a 326-unit, 31-story multifamily tower in Midtown Atlanta.

Prior to joining Zeller, Jeremy held the position of senior vice president at Magellan Development Group, focusing on sourcing, evaluating, and executing on residential, retail, hospitality, office, and mixed-use developments nationwide. He played an integral role in expanding Magellan’s portfolio both in Chicago and nationwide with projects including the 28-acre Lakeshore East master-planned, mixed-use community in Downtown Chicago and the redevelopment of a 15-acre master-planned, mixed-use site in the Union Square neighborhood of Somerville, MA. Other representative projects included high-rise developments in Austin, Miami, Minneapolis, Nashville and Chicago’s River North neighborhood.

Jeremy has also served as a consultant for Inland Real Estate Group, and as a financial analyst for the Community Development Trust and Marcus & Millichap. He holds a master’s degree in real estate development from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Rochester. Jeremy is a licensed real estate broker in Illinois and a member of Urban Land Institute.
