Filipino singer-songwriter Zack Tabudlo was over the moon after BTS’ Jungkook jammed to his song “Give Me Your Forever” during a stream on the fan community platform Weverse on Tuesday night, March 14.

Tabudlo expressed his excitement over Jungkook listening to his song, as seen in a series of posts on his personal account.

The video, which was posted by a BTS fan account on Twitter, showed Jungkook apparently enjoying Tabudlo’s song. “Next song is ‘Give Me Your Forever’ by Zack Tabudlo. Oh, his voice is so good, I like it. I’ll be saving this song [to my playlist] already,” he said.

The video was then re-shared by the “Binibini” hitmaker himself.

“So, [I just woke up] and apparently I was blowing up on social media because…. THE JUNGKOOK. THE GOLDEN MAKNAE. JUST LISTENED TO GIVE ME YOUR FOREVER. I CAN NOW DIE IN PEACE HOLY SHT [emojis], he even said he added my song to his playlist,” he said.

The singer also thanked a BTS fan account, who goes by the username @koobviously, for requesting the song to Jungkook.

“Big [shoutout] to @koobviously for requesting [Give Me Your Forever] [YOU’RE] A LEGEND [emojis] thank u thank u thank u,” he added.

During the stream, the dedicated legion of BTS’ fans — also known as ARMYs — also lit up Weverse as Jungkook also said “mahal ko kayo” or “I love you” to his Filipino fans, as seen in a video shared by Twitter user @taebokkiii.

“Can you say mahal ko kayo for us Filipino fans? Ah, mahal ko kayo!” he said.

Tabudlo started his singing career as a contestant in the first season of the singing competition “The Voice Kids” where he was part of Bamboo Mañalac’s team. Among his hit songs are “Nangangamba,” “Binibini,” and “Habang Buhay.”

Jungkook debuted as the center, main vocalist, and lead dancer of BTS in June 2013, and also released the solo songs “Euphoria,” “My Time,” and “My You,” although he has yet to make his solo debut.

His latest feat was “Dreamers,” an inspirational song that is part of the 2022 FIFA World Cup official soundtrack released in November last year.
