WWE Raw results, recap, grades: Becky Lynch outlasts Zoey Stark in wild Falls Count Anywhere main event
Becky #Becky
With Payback less than one week away, Monday Night Raw saw always important final battles for momentum heading into the pay-per-view event. Those who picked up big wins included Becky Lynch, who defeated Zoey Stark in a wild Falls Count Anywhere match that saw the two use weapons and the ringside environment as they searched for a way to win.
Lynch managed to survive Stark and Trish Stratus, who spent the match interfering and hampering any Lynch attempt to build momentum. In the end, Lynch was able to steal the win and pick up a big win before meeting Stratus in a steel cage match on Saturday.

Becky Lynch tops Zoey Stark in wild Falls Count Anywhere brawl
Becky Lynch def. Zoey Stark via pinfall in a Falls Count Anywhere match. As expected, the match was basically a two-on-one much of the time, with Stratus at ringside and the Falls Count Anywhere rules meaning there were also no disqualifications. After Stratus broke up a pin when Lynch hit Stark with the Manhandle Slam, Lynch chased down Stratus and hit her repeatedly with a kendo stick. Lynch’s lack of focus allowed Stark to come back with a steel chair but that wasn’t enough to get the pin. Plenty of weapon shots followed, including Lynch hitting a superplex onto chairs scattered around the corner of the ring.
Stratus returned to attack Lynch as she nearly put Stark through the announce table with another Manhandle Slam. Stratus eventually hit a bulldog from a ringside platform through a table, but Lynch again kicked out when Stark tried for the cover. Stark accidentally knocked Stratus through a table with a forearm and then Lynch put Stark through a table with a Manhandle Slam to get the win and take momentum into Saturday’s cage match with Stratus.
In ways, this felt like an old school, late 90s style of WWE main event. There was a lot of drama, a lot of interference and brawling around the ring, up the entrance ramp and through the crowd. It never really hit that extra gear and was a bit hampered by the constant two-on-one moments but was satisfying enough and did the job of giving Lynch the win ahead of the match with Stratus, which is likely to also feature Lynch at a numbers disadvantage. Grade: B
