The life of a WWE champion is never easy. While that’s been clear for Drew McIntyre while spending much of 2020 with the top title on the Raw brand, things have only become more complicated. On Monday night’s edition of Raw from Tropicana Field in Tampa, Florida, McIntyre will find out which of his friends he will have to defend his title against when Sheamus battles Keith Lee.
Sheamus and Lee have been at odds for weeks, with Lee waiting for Sheamus to turn on McIntyre in the interest of regaining a world title. Tension continued to build until last week when Sheamus delivered a Brogue Kick to Lee after the two teamed with McIntyre to defeat AJ Styles, The Miz and John Morrison in a six-man tag team match. With the Royal Rumble a little over a month away, who will be the man to earn a shot at McIntyre and the WWE championship?
