WWE Raw results, highlights: Live recap, grades as Brock Lesnar responds to Cody Rhodes’ Backlash challenge

Brock Lesnar isn’t exactly a man who runs away from a fight. So, when “The Beast” shows up on Raw on Monday night, it’s likely he’ll be there to accept Cody Rhodes’ invitation to go one-on-one at the upcoming WWE Backlash pay-per-view.

After losing his shot at undisputed WWE universal champion Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania, Rhodes was looking for a tag team partner to face Reigns and Solo Sikoa in a tag match. After agreeing to battle alongside Rhodes, Lesnar ended up turning just before the start of the match, brutally attacking Rhodes and leaving him down and out.

The attack led to Rhodes throwing down a challenge for a match at Backlash during last week’s episode of Raw, looking to not only get revenge but continue to try and blaze a path back to a shot at the titles.
