Liv Morgan won the women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, setting the stage for her first championship win.

The women’s Money in the Bank field consisted of Becky Lynch, Lacey Evans, Liv Morgan, Alexa Bliss, Raquel Rodriguez, Asuka and Shotzi. Whereas the men’s Money in the Bank field consisted of three frontrunners, the women’s field came with much more parity. Even though Becky Lynch led the field, listed at +150 to win, WWE’s storyline of Lynch’s mental lapses and string of losses made her a very risky and vulnerable favorite.

Liv Morgan was a close second to Becky Lynch at +200. Morgan scored a victory for Team Raw in a Battle of the Brands match on the go-home show for Money in the Bank, which opened the door for the rising star to finally capture her first championship of any kind in WWE. Lacey Evans rounded out the Top 3 amid her recent return as a feel-good patriotic babyface who may or may not turn heel.

Outside of Bliss, Asuka and Lynch, the women’s Money in the Bank field offered up several opportunities for new blood in the Raw and SmackDown women’s championship pictures. In addition to Morgan, who has never held a championship in her career, upstart Raquel Rodriguez, Shotzi and Lacey Evans are also chasing their first championship win on the main roster.

Poor Shotzi, who has taken one pinfall after another, had the worst odds at +3000, with Asuka a surprising penultimate underdog at +1000. As a former women’s Money in the Bank winner, the rarity of a two-time winner hurts Asuka in this match, though given her pedigree in WWE, she does have value as such a steep underdog.

  • Becky Lynch | +150
  • Liv Morgan | +200
  • Lacey Evans | +300
  • Alexa Bliss | +400
  • Raquel Rodriguez | +800
  • Asuka | +1000
  • Shotzi | +3000
  • Bianca Belair and Ronda Rousey have been solid, if not dominant, world champions on Raw and SmackDown, respectively. With a new Money in the Bank winner, in Liv Morgan, it’s likely only a matter of time before one of these formidable reigns ends in a feel-good moment for Liv.
