USPS Holiday Hours
Does USPS deliver on Christmas Eve? Mail will be delivered as usual on Christmas Eve, which is perfect if you’re expecting any last-minute gifts or holiday cards ahead of Christmas Day.
Blue collection boxes with final collection times before noon will not be affected on Christmas Eve, but if a box has a final collection time after 12 p.m., the mail may be picked up earlier. The USPS encourages everyone to put their mail in the blue collection boxes before noon today, regardless of the final collection times posted on the box.
USPS customers who need their mail to be picked up later in the day on Christmas Eve should head to their local post office. But is the post office open on Christmas Eve?
Post office hours vary by location though they may close early on Christmas Eve. Each post office’s exact Christmas Eve hours will be posted at each location.
On Christmas Day itself, which is a postal holiday, post offices will be closed and regular mail will not be delivered.
UPS Holiday Hours
Is UPS delivering on Christmas Eve? UPS will be delivering mail as usual on Christmas Eve. However, some UPS store locations may be operating with modified hours which vary by location. The exact hours of each UPS store will be posted at the individual locations.
UPS will not be delivering on Christmas Day itself and UPS store locations will be closed.
FedEx Holiday Hours
Does FedEx deliver on Christmas Eve? FedEx will be delivering mail as usual on Christmas Eve, though FedEx Express and FedEx Office will be operating with modified hours.
On Christmas Day, all FedEx services will be closed except for FedEx Custom Critical.
To plan ahead for next week, be aware that postal services will run as usual on New Year’s Eve, December 31, but will be closed on New Year’s Day, January 1. Regular mail will not run on New Year’s Day and post offices will be closed.
