Will Aaron Taylor-Johnson divorce his wife Sam? Truth behind rumors as couple puts Hollywood Hills home for sale

The couple have yet to release an official statement about their marriage but people on Twitter are already celebtating. “AARON TAYLOR JOHNSON DIVORCING HIS WIFE WHAT A GOOD DAY IT IS TODAY”

Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Sam Louise Taylor-Johnson’s marriage is allegedly on the rocks and people on Twitter have been in celebratory mode over their divorce rumors. The British actor is trending on Twitter as of Tuesday, April 27, morning, and most of them seem to be ecstatic over this hearsay.

First things first, there has been no official statement from either Aaron or Sam about their marriage falling apart. However, they did list their marital home in Hollywood Hills on the market recently for $7.5 million which could have partly been responsible for fuelling these rumors.

“AARON TAYLOR JOHNSON DIVORCING HIS WIFE WHAT A GOOD DAY IT IS TODAY,” a fan tweet read. “Good Afternoon Aaron Taylor Johnson better actually be divorcing his wife,” read another tweet. “AARON TAYLOR JOHNSON IS GETTING A DIVORCE?!? MY DREAMS CAME TRUE?!? MY MANIFESTATIONS CAME TO FRUITION!? THANK YOU PINK MOON IN SCORPIO- I BOW TO YOU,” another fan tweeted. “The SECOND Aaron Taylor Johnson gets a divorce the girls are going to POUNCE on him I don’t even think he’ll have room left enough to breathe,” wrote another fan.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Sam Taylor-Johnson’s first meeting

Aaron and Sam met each other while shooting John Lennon’s biopic ‘Nowhere Boy’ in 2008. He was just 18 years old at the time and already had a couple of projects under his belt while Sam who was 42 at the time was a renowned artist and director who was raising her two daughters.

The two immediately caught feelings for each other but stayed professional even when everyone on set knew about the romance brewing between them. “And as soon as we finished, he told me he was going to marry me. We had never been on a date, or even kissed,” the director said in an interview. “And a year to the minute after we met, exactly one year to the minute, I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me,” Aaron chimed in. 

“In the 10 years we’ve been together, we’ve only been apart for maybe two or three days. And those were the worst days of those 10 years,” he said of his wife with whom he shares four daughters. 

Their marriage was always under scrutiny

The couple married in 2013 at Babington House, Somerset. Speaking of the excessive public attention their union was subjected to, the actor said,  “The attention was intrusive. But having to deal with that early in my career probably got me to a place where I can more quickly just go, ‘Oh, f*ck it’ instead of wanting to rip someone’s head off for asking questions I don’t like.”

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Sam said she tried to not pay heed to all the nasty things that was were being said about her marriage.”If I gave a second thought to other people, I would be the unhappiest person, probably still in a miserable marriage,’ she told the outlet. “People like to talk about it. I’m like, ‘Yeah, but it works better than my last marriage.’ It’s lasted longer than a lot of my friends’ marriages,” she added. 

Will Aaron Taylor-Johnson divorce his wife Sam?

The couple has yet to speak out about the rumors surrounding their marriage. While an official statement is awaited from Aaron and Sam about where their marriage stands, there are a couple of fans who are saddened by the rumors are rooting for their wedding to stand the test of time. 

“So, sure, Aaron Taylor Johnson is handsome, he married someone 24 years older than him whom he met when he was 18 & hadn’t experienced the world yet. Maybe it wasn’t a healthy relationship, we can’t really judge that. But this is a sad time for him, and celebrating it feels off,” read a tweet. “Aaron Taylor Johnson has been a step-father to his wife’s two kids from her previous marriage, and now he won’t be in their lives as much, and neither will the four siblings. That’s sad!,” read another tweet. “Aaron Taylor Johnson has been married since 2012 to someone with whom he fell in love. Over the last 9 years, it would seem, he fell out of love with her. That’s sad. They have two kids together who now have a broken family. That’s sad,” read another tweet.
