Wiggins destroys Clarke with thunderous dunk, talks smack after

As the Warriors and Grizzlies got off to a fiery start during Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals in Memphis, Andrew Wiggins made his presence known.

It was a tense first quarter as Gary Payton II left the game after being on the receiving end of a frightening flagrant foul, then Draymond Green made a quick trip to the locker room following an elbow to the face.

With the second quarter underway and the Dubs trailing 35-31, Wiggins let Memphis know it wasn’t going to be an easy night with a jaw-dropping dunk over the head of Brandon Clarke that sent the Grizzly flying to the ground.

The poster dunk forced the crowd into a frenzy, including the Warriors’ bench. Steph Curry charged down the sideline, towel on head and all, pumping his fists in celebration of Wiggins’ complete decimation of Clarke.

Wiggins let Clarke know who was in charge as he stood over the power forward and flexed, offering up some choice words for his opponent.

The incredible play was Wiggins’ first field goal of the night, and the Grizzlies are in trouble if it was any sign of what’s to come.
