Michael Rubin’s epic white party attracts the biggest stars of sports and entertainment, all dressed in white for a wild movie-like scene to celebrate America’s birthday (and Rubin’s) at his $50 million Hamptons mansion in New York.

Rubin, the 50-year-old Fanatics CEO billionaire (he turns 51 on July 21), seems to have a way with global personalities, welcoming a mixture of A-listers to his annual bash.

This year’s party included the likes of Tom Brady, Odell Beckham Jr., Ben Affleck, Kim Kardashian, Jay Z and Beyonce, among dozens of others.

It also included Grant Williams, the former Tennessee basketball star who recently completed his fourth season with the Boston Celtics and reportedly spoke at a Fanatics event last month near Boston.

For as many oohs and aahs as the event generated online — we see you Tom Brady and Robert Kraft — there seemed to be just as many huhs? regarding Williams’ appearance.

Yet there Williams was, appearing in photos with comedian Kevin Hart and NFL quarterback Joe Burrow, among others. A Knoxville A-lister among global A-listers.

Here’s a snapshot of the reaction:

Williams played for three years at UT where he was a three-time All-SEC athlete and a back-to-back SEC player of the year. Williams also led Tennessee to top-three seeds in the NCAA tournament in 2018 and 2019, helping the Vols reach a No. 1 ranking.

He was selected 22nd overall by the Celtics in the 2019 NBA Draft.
