You guys are about to face one of the top teams in the league from an offensive standpoint, led by Jalen Hurts. He’s not an easy win, how are you going to get to him?
Micah Parsons: “All of that is just like, the coverage aspect and we gotta have a good plan. His ability to extend plays, anytime you got a person that can move good, he’s harder to sack too. Regardless of his [offensive] line, he’s harder to sack because he can step up in the pocket.
“He’s not afraid to say, ‘It’s not there, let me run.’ Everything — it gotta be chess. For the first half, I might just go all speed rushers. So that way, when we really need it, it’s set up. ‘Alright, let me go speed to power right here. Let me hit the inside move now because he thinks I’m gonna keep coming outside.
“It gotta be chess. People like that, it’s more momentary things. You really wanna catch somebody one time, that’s all you need. One time, I can’t say I’m gonna get there every time especially facing the guys I’m facing.”
On preparing for the Eagles’ weapons in what is currently the top division in the NFL…
Trevon Diggs: “I’m preparing like any other game. I feel like every team got a good player, every team. They have a couple good players. It’s 11 of us, you ain’t just facing me and you ain’t just facing [Parsons], it’s really a full 11 of us.
“I feel like we’re the best defense and we can beat anybody, so if we just keep playing how we’re playing and sticking to the script, nobody should be able to beat us.
