Five more guests will share their thoughts and opinions on the week in politics as the new series of Question Time continues on BBC One. This week’s Question Time debate will be broadcast from Manchester on Thursday, September 29.

Presenter Fiona Bruce and members of the studio audience will ask the panellists questions focused on a range of topical political issues. As usual, this evening’s (September 29) instalment of Question Time will be available to either stream via BBC iPlayer from 8pm or watch on BBC One straight after the 10 O’Clock News.

The Chancellor of the University of Birmingham is among the guests set to appear on the latest episode of BBC’s flagship political programme. Also on hand to answer questions will be broadcaster Richard Bacon, who previously hosted Young Voters’ Question Time.

Here’s the full list of Question Time guests taking part in tonight’s debate:

Paul Scully

Leading tonight’s Question Time line-up is the Conservative’s Paul Scully, the Minister for Local Government who also serves as Minister for London. Scully has been the MP for Sutton and Cheam since 2015.

Bridget Phillipson

Answering questions from the Labour perspective this week is Bridget Phillipson, the party’s Shadow Secretary of State for Education. Phillipson was previously the Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury and is the MP for Houghton and Sunderland South.

Karan Bilimoria

Also appearing on the latest edition of Question Time is Karan Bilimoria, the founder and chairman of Cobra Beer. Bilimoria is also the Vice President of CBI as well as the Chancellor of the University of Birmingham.

Anne McElvoy

The executive editor of The Economist will also be on the panel for the BBC One show. Anne McElvoy is also a columnist for the Evening Standard and the host of ‘The Economist Asks’ podcast.

Richard Bacon

Rounding out the Question Time panel for tonight is television and radio broadcaster Richard Bacon. Bacon has presented shows including Top of the Pops and Blue Peter and is the former host of Young Voters’ Question Time.
