Fiona Bruce will host as five more guests share their opinions on some of the week’s biggest political issues. The new series of Question Time continues on BBC One on Thursday, November 17.

The latest debate will be broadcast from Snape, with Bruce and a live studio audience on hand to ask the panellists questions about a range of topical issues. The SNP Leader in Westminster is among the guests appearing on tonight’s episode of the BBC ’s flagship political programme.

As ever, viewers will be able to tune into the newest instalment of Question Time live via BBC iPlayer at 8pm. Alternatively, it will also be available to watch later on BBC One at 10.40pm, straight after the 10 O’Clock News.

Who is on Question Time tonight?

Here’s the full list of Question Time guests taking part in tonight’s debate from Snape:

Victoria Atkins

The Conservatives’ Victoria Atkins, Financial Secretary to the Treasury, will lead tonight’s Question Time line-up. Atkins has previously served as the Minister for Women and the Minister for Prisons and Probation and worked as a barrister specialising in serious organised crime.

Jonathan Ashworth

Answering questions from Labour’s perspective this week is Jonathan Ashworth, Shadow Secretary of State for Work and Pensions. Ashworth was previously a Treasury special adviser under Gordon Brown and was the Shadow Health and Social Care Secretary during the coronavirus pandemic.

Ian Blackford

Also appearing on the latest edition of Question Time is Ian Blackford, the SNP Leader in Westminster. Blackford is a former investment banker who runs a croft and keeps sheep on the Isle of Sky.

Trevor Phillips

Joining this week’s line-up is former president of the John Lewis Partnership Council, Trevor Phillips. The Question Time guest was previously chairman of the Equalities and Human Rights Commission and is a broadcaster, writer and presenter.

Kate Andrews

Rounding out the Question Time panel for tonight is Kate Andrews, economics editor at the Spectator Magazine. Andrews was the associate director at the Institute of Economic Affairs think tank and was previously the head of communications at the Adam Smith Institute.

Question Time airs on Thursdays at 10.40pm on BBC One and from 8pm on BBC iPlayer
