Chris Williamson is best known for being a podcaster and YouTuber after rising to fame when he appeared on the first series of Love Island in 2015.

He was born in 1988 in Stockton-on-Tees, North East England.

He played cricket as a child and played for the Durham Academy before going to Newcastle University where he started his career in nightclub promotion.

It seems that Chris was looking for a life of fame as his TV career began in 2012 when he starred on Take Me Out.

He then went on to enter the Love Island villa in 2015 but said that he felt like he didn’t belong on the show.

He told BBC: “‘I was living this persona of the professional party boy – the big name on campus, the guy with the hair out front [of the club], that wanted people to need him, that thought he had found the culture and industry he belonged in.

“Then I got on to Love Island and had nowhere to hide from people who were the person I was pretending to be.

“I was there with people who were genuinely extroverted, outgoing, party people. And I was just playing a role… I’d convinced myself [Love Island] was something that made me finally belong. And I didn’t belong.”
