Bowie’s second child, Lexi, was born on August 15, 2000, in New York.
She currently works as an artist in Los Angeles, selling paintings as well as customised clothing.
Lexi has two half-siblings, Duncan and Zulekha Haywood, who was born in 1978 during her mother’s marriiage to basketball player Spencer Haywood.
Lexi was 15 when her father died in 2016, and marked the occasion on Instagram in January 2023, with a post reading “7 years ago today. I miss you”.

Bowie was married to American model and designer Angie from 1970 to 1980.
She was born Angela Bassett on September 25, 1949, in Cyprus.
When Bowie died in 2016, Angie was participating in the series 17 of Celebrity Big Brother.
She was informed of his death whilst in the house, causing a chaotic situation when she told American TV personality Tiffany Pollard that David had died.
Pollard mistakenly thought Angie was talking about fellow housemate David Gest.
Iman
Bowie was married to supermodel Iman from 1992 until his death in 2016.
Together, they resided primarily in New York and London.
When Bowie died of liver cancer, Iman wrote in tribute: “The struggle is real, but so is God.”
