White Sox give courageous 7-year-old cancer patient Beau Dowling a run around the bases in a beautiful moment

White Life #WhiteLife

There’s no question it’s been a tough year on the field for the White Sox. Once a supposed World Series contender, the South Siders have instead floundered about around .500 for most of the 2022 MLB season.

But as much as it’s easy to focus on their baseball pitfalls, the White Sox made the wish of one brave young fan come true.

Before Chicago took on the Orioles in a home matchup on Saturday, they organized a “Home Run For Life” for seven-year-old Beau Dowling. After beating high-rush neuroblastoma as a toddler, Dowling was recently diagnosed with thyroid cancer.

With Dowling undergoing treatment not long ago, he got to run around the bases as both the White Sox and Orioles’ organizations cheered him on in a remarkable moment:

Oh wow. How can you not smile when you see that?

Look at that adorable face.

Dowling’s heartwarming run around the bases drew the attention of MLB fans everywhere.
