Artesia

El Segundo’s the 4th of July at Recreation Park: Daytime events include contests, games, races, arts and crafts vendors, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Nighttime events include live music, food booths and fireworks, 5-9 p.m. Bring a blanket for seating. Riviera Village Festival: Hang out on Avenue I in South Redondo’s Riviera Village for a Fourth of July festival and fireworks show. The festival begins at 2 p.m. and features live music, food, beer and wine. Advance festival tickets are $20; $30 on July 4.
