Reality TV star Heavy D has died aged 43, with tributes pouring in on social media.
The Celebrity Big Brother star is believed to have passed away earlier this week, with his actor friend Nick Nevern saying he was ‘shocked’ on Twitter.
He tweeted: ‘I’m very shocked & saddened to hear of the passing of my friend @HeavyHeavyd. U lived ur life the way u wanted to & f*** anyone who didn’t like it!
‘U always brought a smile to my face bro & lifted any room you where in. #RIPHeavyD [sic].’
His former girlfriend Bryony Anne Harris, the mother of his three-year-old daughter Rory, confirmed Heavy D’s death on Twitter, writing: ‘Heart broken. I loved this man we argued we hated each other but we had love at one point and a beautiful daughter rest in peace you silly thing!’

His cause of death has yet to be reported.
When was Heavy D on Celebrity Big Brother?
Heavy D, real name Colin Newell, took part in the 18th series of CBB in 2016.
The star – known for his catchphrase ‘Boom!’ – entered the house alongside Christopher Biggins, Stephen Bear, Ricky Norwood, Marnie Simpson, Lewis Bloor, Chloe Khan, Saira Khan, Grant Bovey, Katie Waissel, Aubrey O’Day, Renee Graziano, Frankie Grande, Samantha Fox and James Whale.

During his time in the house, he developed a crush on Chloe Khan and clashed on numerous occasions with Bear after the Ex On The Beach star pulled pranks on him.
Heavy D became the fourth celeb to be evicted from the house, and later admitted that it was hard to get work after the show.
He told The Sun: ‘The work had dried up. I came out of Big Brother. I thought there was going to be loads of work.
‘My agent couldn’t get me any work and the work just dried up.’
What else was Heavy D known for?
Heavy D, also known as the Boominator, starred on the UK edition of Storage Hunters from 2014 until 2016.
He starred on all five series of the show.
In recent years, he also appeared on ITV’s Judge Rinder after failing to pay his former landlord £12,000 in rent for his North London flat.
