Lockdown mark three is slowly but surely drawing to an end, as more key dates on the Government’s roadmap out of lockdown creep closer and closer.

After a very long winter, we now have picnics, pub gardens and the reopening of non-essential shops to look forward to.

Primark is among those high street staples that many can’t wait to see opening its doors again.

Wondering when they’re due to be open for business once more? Here’s what you need to know…

When is Primark reopening after lockdown?

Per the Government’s roadmap, Primark bosses said they expect to reopen the doors of 153 stores in England along with other non-essential retail on April 12 – subject, of course, to the coronavirus situation at the time.

It is also hoped that a further 20 branches in Scotland will be able to reopen by the end of April.

In a bid to make up for money not earned during the pandemic, parent company Associated British Foods (ABF) are also considering the prospect of longer opening hours.

Does Primark have an online shop?

Unfortunately for long-distance fans of the shop, Primark does not have an online shop.

Primark has also not made any of their products available via any other online retailers.

As their website states, the only place you can get Primark products is a Primark shop.

Some do buy and resell Primark products unofficially online but as the shops have been closed for months now, this doesn’t include any new lines.
