What’s new on Apple TV+ this month (February 2024)

We’re deep in the throes of winter and the football season is about to wrap up. Luckily, there are a few new sports docs landing on Apple TV+ in February, and one just so happens to be a 10-part series chronicling the New England Patriots. Oh, and here’s another long-awaited treat: Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon is now available for streaming!

Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon is finally available for streaming on Apple TV+. Based on the 2017 David Grann nonfiction book of the same name, the film features an ensemble cast made up of Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, and Lily Gladstone, among others. Set in 1920s Oklahoma, the story follows the discovery of oil on Osage soils. With certain members of the tribe holding exclusive mineral rights to the land, a collective of corrupt politicians orders the murders of these individuals. With a sprawling three-hour-plus runtime, Killers of the Flower Moon finds both the actors and director at the top of their game.

When we think of nationall lauded football teams, one name that probably comes to mind for most folks is the New England Patriots. This month on Apple TV+, fans of the sport, the team, and its players will be treated to a monolithic 10-part docuseries that chronicles the highs and lows of the famous franchise. Based on the New York Times bestselling book by Jeff Benedict, the series is set to feature talking-head segments from Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, Robert Kraft, and many other personalities connected to the team.

If you’ve been hankering for a good sci-fi thriller series, Constellation will definitely check that box. The Apple TV+ original stars Noomi Rapace as Jo, a lone astronaut working on the International Space Station. Upon returning to Earth, Jo soon realizes that the cataclysmic event she experienced in the cosmos may have had bigger ripple effects on her own life than she could have imagined. The first three episodes premiere on February 21, with new episodes dropping each Wednesday until March 27.

From executive producers Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, and Gary Goetzman, Masters of the Air is a cinematic adaptation of the Donald L. Miller book of the same name. Based on the trials and tribulations of the 100th Bomb Group, a WWII-era U.S. Air Force unit, the film follows the many daring and dangerous missions carried out by the group over Nazi Germany.

The core cast includes Elvis actor Austin Butler, Callum Turner, Anthony Boyle, and Nate Mann.

Apple TV+ continues to add new titles on a monthly basis, and we’re excited for what the platform has in store. March 2024 will see the premiere of a new comedy-drama series called Palm Royale (March 16), starring Kristen Wiig, as well as the second season of Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock (March 29).

At some point, we’ll also be getting Ridley Scott’s Napoleon and a spy thriller-comedy hybrid called Argyle. We’ll be sure to add premiere dates as soon as we find out when they’ll be streaming!
