THREE THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT BENGALS vs. RAVENS, A QUICK PREVIEW

1. The Bengals will once again be dealing with some injuries at key positions, including the absence of No. 2 wideout Tee Higgins who will sit out this showdown. However, top receiver Ja’Marr Chase will suit up and has no injury designation for this game despite dealing with a sore back the past two weeks. 2. The Ravens could have three different backs play a big role for Baltimore tonight including Gus Edwards, Justice Hill and a dynamic newcomer in rookie Keaton Mitchell who has scored two weeks in a row on limited touches. In a game that could be decided by a few crucial plays, Mitchell could be a difference-maker tonight. 3. Bettors are nearly evenly split down who they think will win this matchup with 51% of bettors on Draft Kings picking Baltimore and 49% picking Cincinnati to win this game. However, the entire staff at NFL.com are picking the Ravens to win this game at home tonight, so take that for what it’s worth.

These are two strong teams. At, 7-3 on the year, the Ravens are just slight (-3.5) point favorites heading into this matchup on their home field, and both teams are coming off tough losses. However, it’s clearly the Bengals (5-4) who are more desperate for the win. Cincinnati started off slow with Burrow nursing a calf injury, but have come on strong of late. Both teams have great defensive units, so this matchup may come down to who scores last, or one big play. On their home field, and seemingly at full strength, I’m going with the Ravens to get the win and cover. PREDICTION: Raven 27, Bengals 17. Place your bets for Thursday Night Football on Draft Kings.
