But the YouTuber-turned-wrestler came back for the Men’s Royal Rumble Match at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

The 27-year-old entered the ring at No.29 in a chorus of boos from the WWE fans.

The amateur boxer was attacked by everyone once he stepped inside the squared circle, much to the crowd’s delight.

But Paul regrouped and stood on the ring apron on the left with Ricochet on the other side.

The two high-flyers got engaged into a shouting match and provoked each other.

Both of them then jumped from the top rope and collided mid-air as they hit each other with a springboard crossbody.

WWE fans were left absolutely stunned by a moment that will surely live forever in wrestling history.

MMA journalist Ariel Helwani wrote: “This was incredible. Highlight of the night so far. Again, Logan is really good at this.”

Pat McAfee wrote: “WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED”.

Paul needed some time to get back up to his feet and when he did he attacked Seth Rollins.

The social media sensation eliminated Rollins and started to taunt him as he shouted, ‘Seth who?’ – signalling a heel turn amid the crowd’s boos.

The entrepreneur then took a swipe at the crowd as he pointed at the WrestleMania 39 sign.

That posed as a major hint Rollins and Paul will meet at Mania in April at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

But Paul couldn’t score the win, even though he made the final four with Gunther and eventual victor Cody Rhodes, who eliminated him.
