Jacob Sartorius is one name you’d be familiar with if you’re a fan of TikTok, however, Jacob didn’t come to prominence on the “it” app, but did so over 5 years ago! The online personality first came about on Vine and YouTube where he gained millions upon millions of followers through his singing and dancing videos. Jacob was one of the fastest growing online creators at the time, instantly transforming his brand into a household name.
While the six-second app didn’t last very long, Jacob had continued success on YouTube, however, it was back in 2016 that he received his big break after signing with a label to start off his music career. Jacob also found himself romantically linked to actress, Millie Bobby Brown, gaining even more popularity. With the emergence of new apps such as Musical.ly, and now TikTok, here is what Jacob Sartorius has been up to!

Jacob Sartorius is easily one of the biggest internet sensations of the decade! The star first began making videos when the six-second app, Vine, first came about. Sartorius grew a following rather quickly and turned to YouTube as a means to expand his content creation. It didn’t take much time before Jacob was known across the world, particularly amongst a young and female demographic. His online presence continued to grow, landing him a deal with none other than T3 Music Group in 2016.
The star began his transition into professional music and released his first single, ‘Sweatshirt’, which peaked at number 90 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. His career in music did so well, that Jacob was the 9th most searched musician in 2016, according to Google. ‘The Last Texas’ marked Jacob’s debut EP, which he released in 2017, finding success in New Zealand, Canada, and the United States. Luckily, due to his song ‘Hit or Miss’, Jacob found himself headlining award shows such as the ‘Kids Choice Awards’ and the ‘Teen Choice Awards’.

Due to his success in the industry, Jacob Sartorious has been able to amass an impressive net worth of $3 million! Despite things slowing down for the star around 2018, things immediately picked back up after he was rumored to be dating ‘Stranger Things’ star, Millie Bobby Brown. The two did, in fact, date, however, things did not last long between the duo. Last year, Sartorius released ‘Better With You’, his third extended play album, however, it did not do well globally.
