Welsh rugby: Cardiff boss Matt Sherratt urges joint effort to keep talent in Wales
Wales #Wales
Cardiff head coach Matt Sherratt says the Welsh regions and the Welsh Rugby Union must work in unison to ensure young talent remains in Wales.
Following budget cuts, a number of players – including promising youngsters – left the regions last summer to ply their trade outside Wales.
Sherratt says Welsh rugby needs to prioritise keeping young players at the regions long-term, so they do not become breeding grounds for teams outside of Wales.
