Weather: Mixed bag for the long weekend, but Victoria Day looks sunny

The long Victoria Day weekend is so far looking like a mixed bag of weather, but a holiday’s a holiday.

Saturday should be mainly cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers in the forecast.

The forecasters also say there’s a risk of a thunderstorm, so keep your heads up.

Humidity is expected to make the high of 27 C feel like 34, so stay hydrated. The UV index should hit  6, or ‘high.’

Saturday night looks much the same, with more T-storms possible.

Sunday’s forecast shows continued cloud, with a 60 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon.

The high should be about 18 C. Periods of rain continue through the night and the temps should drop to 6 C.

The sun’s expected to pop out for Victoria Day Monday, with a pleasant high of 19 C and low of 6 C.

Tuesday looks like more of the same, with a high of 21. Showers are expected to roll in during the evening, with a low of 11.
