‘We never take anything for granted’: Labour retains West Lancashire in byelection victory – video

Ashley Dalton came out on top in a byelection in the West Lancashire constituency on Friday, which was called when her Labour predecessor resigned last summer. Dalton won with 14,068 votes while the Conservative candidate, Mike Prendergast, followed in second place with 5,742, a 10% swing to Labour.
