Rose Lavelle #RoseLavelle
Aaaaaand they’re back The US Women’s National Soccer team is finally off to the races in the Olympics after a slow start.
The World Cup champions bounced back pretty quickly after their 3-0 loss to Sweden scoring a goal in the first 10 minutes of their match New Zealand. It was Rose Lavelle who made the strike to give USWNT a 1-0 lead in her very first Olympics.
She got an absolute dime from Tobin Heath on the break and took care of the rest. She was wide open and stuck the ball into the bottom right corner of the net.
It was just an amazing sequence.
What a pass. What a goal. Congrats to Lavelle on her first Olympic goal. This is how you get the Olympics started.
