One of the keys for the Raiders to beating the Broncos today was to run the ball early and often. They’ve been doing that and Josh Jacobs has been carrying the load. He was already having a great day and the Raiders had the lead at 19-16. Then he did this.

That absolutely filthy move turned what looked like a run stuff at the line into a 48-yard run. It was the second longest run of Jacobs’s career. It also put him over 100 yards rushing on the day (109). It also gave him a combined 140 yards from scrimmage and a TD.
The run put the Raiders in scoring range. They would get as far as the one-yard-line on the drive, but were held without a touchdown. They settled for a field goal to extent their lead to 22-16 over the Broncos late in the third quarter.
