Inter jumped out to a 2-0 lead 11 minutes into Wednesday’s Champions League semifinal after scoring two rapid goals against their city rivals AC Milan.
Edin Dzeko opened the scoring in the first-leg contest with a volley off a corner that seemingly came from out of nowhere. Then Henrikh Mkhitaryan piled the pressure on the Rossoneri players with a powerful strike inside the box to double Inter’s lead against the stunned hosts.
