TikTok Speculation that JoJo Siwa came out as gay trended on Twitter after the former ‘Dance Moms’ star posted a video on Tik Tok dancing to ‘Born This Way.’

After Joelle Joanie “JoJo” Siwa posted a video on TikTok of herself jamming out to Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way,” while wearing her signature bow with rainbows on it, viewers believed this was the former Dance Moms star way of coming out as gay.

The 17-year-old pop star has neither confirmed nor denied the rumors, but even amid President Joe Biden’s Celebrating America inauguration special airing on national TV, JoJo’s named started trending nationally on Twitter with people wondering the true meaning behind her lip-sync video.

For some users online, it was not a surprise at all the JoJo was either gay or bisexual. In 2018, drag queens Izzy Uncut and Poppy dubbed JoJo a “gay icon” to Out magazine.

JoJo, who has 31 million followers on TikTok, posted the video on Wednesday night. Fueling the rumors that this was a legit coming-out video for JoJo, a comment by makeup artist and viral sensation James Charles. He wrote, “IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU,” with three heart-face emojis.

However, most viewers were unsure of what to make of the video. It could just be a teenaged girl rocking out to Lady Gaga with no underlying message.

JoJo’s fans were desperate for answers. While one TikTok user commented, “OMG CONGRATS” with a series of rainbow emojis, another person asked, “HOLD UP IS THIS HER COMING OUT VIDEO?”
