On Saturday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Golden State Warriors at Crypto.com Arena for Game 3 of their second-round playoff series.

During the game, D’Angelo Russell had an incredible move on Klay Thompson that is going viral on social media.

The former Ohio State showed off his handles with a magnificent crossover and then did a pump fake that sent Thompson flying the other way.

Russell then drilled the mid-range jump shot.

He got off to a sensational start by scoring all 11 of the Lakers’ points to start the game.

The 2019 NBA All-Star was traded to the Lakers (via the Minnesota Timberwolves) in February and is in his second tenure with the franchise.

He was the second pick in the 2015 NBA Draft and spent the first two seasons of his career with the organization.

Following the Lakers, Russell also had stints with the Brooklyn Nets and Golden State Warriors (in addition to the Timberwolves).

This season, the 27-year-old averaged 17.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 1.0 steals per contest in 71 games.

He also shot a fantastic 46.9% from the field and 39.6% from the three-point range.

The Lakers and Warriors are currently tied up at 1-1 after Games 1 and 2 at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

Games 3 and 4 are both in Los Angeles, so the Lakers have an excellent chance to take complete control of the series.

Game 5 will be back in San Francisco on Wednesday evening.
