Your Los Angeles Chargers seem to have found themselves the perfect WR fit in this year’s draft for a multitude of reasons with Quentin Johnston. He blew scouts away with his speed and height combo, a stellar junior season at TCU, and helped lead his school to a 13-2 record.
However, when you are a rookie with the type of expectations that Johnston will have when the 2023 season kicks off, it’s going to take more than just an elite draft profile to really see success. The Chargers are still trying to implement themselves as a top franchise within the city of Angels due to just how saturated the market there is with sports teams.
Especially when you consider that the Rams, who also play in the same stadium as the Bolts, already won a Super Bowl for Los Angeles just two seasons, the Chargers are already that far behind.

Quentin Johnston has already made it very clear that he is a huge Lakers fan with his hype tweets amidst the postseason run that the purple and gold are currently on.
In facts, Johnston may have been a little too excited about the Lakers’ game four win over the Golden State Warriors and his celebration involved him taking his athletic abilities to a whole other level.
