It’s pretty safe to say that Boston Celtics All-Star point guard Kemba Walker is back after the 3 he just drained in Philadelphia 76ers rookie guard Tyrese Maxey’s face in the first half of the game between the Atlantic Division rivals.

The UConn product, playing in just his second game of the season, showed the horrific show he and the Celtics put on from 3-point range against the New York Knicks on Sunday which saw Boston put up historically bad numbers beyond the arc. Walker sized up the first-year floor general and decided to let it rip, draining the trey with cold-blooded abandon despite Maxey’s strong closeout.

There had been a little lingering concern in some circles despite the New Yorker showing the jets still worked against the Knicks that Walker might not be totally ready to play, but he put those thoughts to bed with that jumper.

Watch the shot the former Husky stuck in the game’s second quarter for yourself — at least while the action stops at halftime, anyway.
