Watch Blue Jays fan’s gesture after Aaron Judge home run bring young Yankees fan to tears

Yankees #Yankees

All too often sports shows us the ugly side of humanity.

On Tuesday night, sports brought out the very best.

In the middle of an AL East game between Toronto and New York, a Blue Jays fan beat others to a game-tying home run by New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge.

Instead of throwing the ball back onto the field – which is customary – he had a better idea.

He turned around and gifted it to a young Yankees fan wearing a Judge jersey.

The young man was so taken aback by the gesture he hugged the stranger while breaking down in tears.

The Blue Jays were leading 1-0 lead in the top of the sixth inning when Judge hit the solo shot into the second deck at Rogers Centre.

The home run was Judge’s eighth in his last 10 games, tying him with teammate Anthony Rizzo for the most in the majors.

The Yankees won 9-1 after Judge drove in three runs.

Jameson Taillon allowed one run in six innings, and the New York Yankees extended their winning streak to 11 games.

Giancarlo Stanton hit a two-run home run in the ninth.

New York leads baseball with 34 home runs this season. New York’s winning streak is the longest in the majors this season. The Yankees won 13 straight games from Aug. 14 to 27, 2021.
