‘Was going to have a f***ing panic attack’: Socceroos star’s slip of the toungue as Aussies celebrate

Redders #Redders

Socceroos forward Mitchell Duke dropped an f-bomb as he struggled to contain his excitement in the aftermath of Australia’s World Cup spot clinching win in a penalty shootout victory over Peru.

Australia left it late clinching their 2022 World Cup berth with an epic save from substitute goalkeeper Andrew Redmayne on the fifth and final spot kick to seal a 4-3 win on penalties after it was 0-0 at the end of extra time.

Duke was understandably elated and lost for words amongst the wild celebrations from the Australians, admitting the nerves were getting to him as he watched the shootout play out.
