Warm weekend with rain coming on Sunday

(PINPOINT WEATHER) — Good morning and happy Saturday! A rainy pattern is expected in the forecast for Sunday and into Monday with the heaviest rain on Monday. Keep your umbrellas close! Temperatures are going above normal for the next few days with highs being in the 70s!

There is not much rain currently, but sprinkles are possible for later in the day with a high of 70 and a low of 50 tonight. Sunday is when the rain pushes in, especially in the morning and early afternoon when the rain will likely be the heaviest, but will get drier by Super Bowl Sunday night.

A cold front will push through the area on Monday which will cause the heaviest of rain for the start of the work week and flooding could be possible because of the 1 to 2 inch rain totals!

Thunder could be heard tomorrow as well but it’s mostly a possibility. Rain will end early and it’ll partially clear later that night. Highs will be in the low 60s and the lows will be in the high 40s.

Tuesday will be much brighter and drier and it’ll look like this on Valentine’s Day too! Our next chance of rain could be next Saturday.

Sunday: Occasional rain showers. High 68

Monday: Rain, chance of 95%. High 61
