Warm and breezy today with chance of storms tonight

Breezy #Breezy

Today will be another warm and breezy day across North Texas with a mix of sun and clouds. Highs will be in the low 90s. The weather looks dry today, but a few thunderstorms may roll in late tonight.

A cold front up in Oklahoma will likely initiate strong to severe storms later this evening. These storms are expected to drop south toward the Red River after 8PM tonight. As they cross over into Texas there is a slight risk for hail and high winds with the stronger storms. Storms will gradually weaken as they continue moving south, but they could briefly affect DFW around midnight.

Tuesday will be cooler with a few brief showers possible early. Otherwise, the rest of the week looks dry until Friday, when another chance of showers or storms returns.
