Voters in Kane County cast ballots in races for sheriff, county treasurer and county clerk

Residents voted Tuesday in races for three Kane County offices – sheriff, county clerk and county treasurer.
The sheriff’s race had incumbent Sheriff Ron Hain, a Democrat, facing Republic anchallenger Jeffrey Bodin.

According to unofficial final results Tuesday night, with all 292 precincts reporting, Hain received 55.8% of the vote to 42.1% for Bodin.
The treasurer’s contest in Kane County featured former Kane County Board Chairman Chris Lauzen, a Republican, and Democrat Jeff Pripusich.

Unofficial final results reported on Tuesday night, with all precincts reporting, had Lauzen with 51.5% of the vote to 46.5% for Pripusich.
The race for county clerk saw longtime clerk John “Jack” Cunningham, a Republican, going against Democrat Nicolas G. “Nico” Jimenez.
According to unofficial final results, with all precincts reporting Tuesday night, Cunningham had 53.2% of the vote to 44.7% for Jimenez.
