Viral video of Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau results in SEC football-centric memes

By now, you’ve seen the viral video of visibly frustrated Brooks Koepka rolling his eyes at Bryson DeChambeau all while cursing during a PGA Championship post-round interview.

If you haven’t, you might be out of luck. As of Tuesday afternoon, and more than 10 million views, the leaked video was “disabled in response to a report by the content owner.” As of this posting, it was still available here.

Lucky for you, the meme game remains strong on the Internet.

The viral video was from a Golf Channel interview after Koepka’s second round Friday at Kiawah Island. During an interview with Todd Lewis, Koepka gave an all-to-obvious as DeChambeau walks behind him.

Koepka stopped speaking, closed his eyes.

“Sometimes, um — I lost my train of thought,” Koepka admits. “Hearing that bulls—.”

The Internet wins again.

Koepka carded a 1-under par 71 on Friday. He finished tied for second with Louis Oosthuizen, 2 shots behind Phil Mickelson, who became the oldest player to win a major in golf history. DeChambeau, meanwhile, finished seven shots behind Koepka after a final-round 77.

The video was just one of the issues Koepka was dealing with.

PGA of America CEO Seth Waugh apologized to Mickelson and Koepka for fans rushing onto the 18th hole at the PGA Championship on Sunday.

After Mickelson’s approach landed on the 18th green, spectators rushed past the ropes, marshals and security at the Ocean Course, quickly swarming the competitors as they played the 72nd hole.

Waugh said Monday the organization regretted that the scene “made two players and their caddies feel vulnerable.”

Koepka said his surgically repaired right knee got hit by people as he tried to break through the crowd.

Koepka wondered if someone purposely tried to hurt him. “I don’t know, it felt somebody tried to …” he said, cutting off his thought. “I don’t know what the deal was, but it’s what it is.”
