David Marr was shocked to discover his ancestors fought with the Native Police – a violent military unit who patrolled the colonial frontier conducting raids and punitive attacks on Indigenous Australians.
He’s now written a book about his own family’s involvement and sat down with Laura Tingle in Sydney.
