Video recap: Lions survive missed opportunities in last-second win over Chargers

Chargers #Chargers

INGLEWOOD, Calif. — It wasn’t always pretty. But it sure was entertaining.

The Detroit Lions (7-2) returned from the bye week, with their offense humming to the tune of 41 points and 200 yards on the ground in the 41-38 win over the Los Angeles Chargers (4-5) in Week 10. And it was another aggressive showing from Dan Campbell and his staff, with the Lions converting four fourth-down tries in LA.

The Lions failed to convert on two of their four trips inside the red zone, moving the chains for the Chargers three times via penalties. They even erased another Jameson Williams touchdown with a questionable low block penalty on Taylor Decker, and came back swinging with an impressively multiple offensive attack.

And while the ground game put the game on ice and had some big-time plays. Lions quarterback Jared Goff steadied the ship, leading a game-winning drive while throwing for 333 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
