Vancouver police searching for a missing mother, her 2 children last seen Oct. 7

Vancouver police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing mother and her two children. All three were last seen Oct. 7 in east Vancouver, according to an early Thursday statement.
Amanda Folston, 30, is a Black woman about 5 feet, 2 inches tall and about 120 pounds. A photo of Folston was not made available by police.
Daughter Jessie Tonkin, 7, is a mixed-race girl with brown hair and brown eyes. She is 4 feet tall and weighs about 48 pounds. Liam Tonkin, 5, is a mixed-race boy with brown eyes and light brown hair. He is 3 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs about 41 pounds. Photos of both were provided by police.
Anyone with information about Folston or the two children are asked to call 911 or contact VPD Det. James Dewey at james.dewey@cityofvancouver.us.
