    Jean-Pierre is back for his senior year, marking the 12th consecutive season a Jean-Pierre is on the VROL roster. He follows brothers Chris and Ernest and

    Valley has yet to prove it can win consistently without former coach Tim King on the sidelines.

    [THE BOTTOM LINE]

    The Warriors return 11 starters, many at key spots, which is cause for optimism as they attempt to get back to their winning ways. They’ll have some room to get the newcomers up to par with a handful of winnable games early. Should Valley get through those games unscathed, their playoff hopes will hinge on a three-game road trip at midseason, including games vs. defending Class S champion Cromwell/Portland and Stafford/Somers/East Windsor.
