Valentine’s Day snow was a record breaker for the Twin Cities
On Monday, the temperature climbed above freezing at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport for the the 22nd consecutive day, making this the longest “January Thaw” on record in the Twin Cities, according to the Minnesota State Climatology Office. (The previous record was a 21-day stretch from Dec. 19, 2006, to Jan. 8, 2007.)
