Universal Orlando Resort announced its new 5-world theme park, Universal Epic Universe, expected to debut in 2025.
The Epic Universe is Universal Orlando’s fourth theme park and will offer five worlds, unique dining and one in-park hotel, the Universal Helios Grand Hotel, which will offer 500 rooms and a dedicated park entrance.
Two other hotels, co-owned and operated by Loews Hotels & Co., will be located adjacent to the new park: the Universal Stella Nova Resort and the Universal Terra Luna Resort.
Celestial Park
Upon entering the Universal Epic Universe, travelers will be immersed into the first world: Celestial Park, a lush world with gardens, winding pathways and water features. The design is inspired by myths and legends, such as ancient Greek mythology.
Celestial Park will offer dining, shopping and its own attractions. The shooting star-themed roller coaster, called Starfall Racers, is a dual-racing coaster that reaches speeds of up to 62 mph. Constellation Carousel is a celestial-themed carousel with movement inspired by the rotations of planets. Astronomica is a wet play area that also features as the park’s compass rose.
Celestial Park offers three restaurants: Atlantic, a full-service restaurant set inside of a Victorian-styled aquarium, The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant and The Oak & Star Tavern, which serves pizza and barbecue.
This first world is also where the fantastical portals to the four other new worlds are located.
The Four Other New Worlds
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter expands in a new immersive installment, this time taking guests into the world of the Ministry of Magic. Guests will enjoy a blend of 1920s wizarding Paris from the Fantastic Beasts films and the British Ministry of Magic from the original Harry Potter series.
