UFC 275: Zhang Weili sends Joanna Jedrzejczyk into retirement with brutal spinning backfist KO

Zhang Weili came out on top of another action-packed slugfest versus Joanna Jedrzejczyk, this time with a wild knockout.
In the second round of their UFC 275 matchup, Zhang unleashed a brutal spinning backfist that landed flush with Jedrzejczyk’s face, knocking the former champion out. The referee called a stop to the fight at 2:28 of the second round.
Afterward, Jedrzejczyk announced she is retiring from mixed martial arts.
“I’m turning 35 this year. I want to be a mom. I want to be a businesswoman,” Jedrzejczyk said. “I now want all of this to happen. I’ve been training two decades — more than half of my life. I love you guys.”
