UCLA vs. Arizona score: Wildcats repeat as Pac-12 Tournament champions on Courtney Ramey’s late 3-pointer

Arizona repeated as the Pac-12 Tournament champion on Saturday night by edging UCLA 61-59 in a tightly contested game between the conference’s top teams. UCLA guard Dylan Andrew got a clean look from the left wing at the buzzer, but it bounced off, propelling the Wildcats into the NCAA Tournament with momentum.

Courtney Ramey drilled a 3-pointer with 16 seconds left to put Arizona ahead 60-58. It was his first bucket of the night and capped a rally from a nine-point deficit for the Wildcats. UCLA guard Tyger Campbell subsequently missed a potential game-tying free-throw with six seconds left.

Azuolas Tubelis led the Wildcats with 19 points and took advantage of UCLA’s depleted depth as the Bruins played without freshman big man Adem Bona, who missed the game with a shoulder injury. UCLA is also dealing with the loss of key wing Jaylen Clark to injury and had two players foul out.

The Bruins have been in the chase for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, but the loss ended their 12-game winning streak and won’t help their chances of leading on the top line when the 68-team bracket is revealed on Selection Sunday.
