TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) — The University of Arizona Police Department now officially has a new man in charge.
On Monday, Chris Olson was sworn in as the department’s new chief.
Olson has more than 30 years behind the badge, starting with the Pima College Police Department, before moving to UAPD and eventually serving as a commander for the oro valley police department.
He’s also no stranger to the classroom. Olson works as an adjunct instructor, teaching Police Accountability in the School of Government and Public Policy.
