Two arrested after stolen vehicle rams police car in Stoke-on-Trent

Two people have been arrested after a stolen vehicle rammed a police car in Stoke-on-Trent this afternoon.
The pair – who have not been named – were seen by the Staffordshire Police Road Policing Unit driving a stolen vehicle in Fenton.
When officers tried to stop the vehicle, officers say it rammed their police car ‘multiple times’.
The stolen vehicle was located nearby and the offenders were tracked down by police dogs.
Now they have been arrested for burglary and other offences.
A Staffordshire Police Road Policing Unit spokesman said: “Stolen vehicle located by Staffordshire Police Dogs in Fenton which rams the police vehicle multiple times.
“Vehicle located near by by ourselves and dog support have tracked offenders! Two detained and off to the cells for burglary and other offences.”
